Anyone Here Know Anything About The Gestalt Laws?

I have a assignment I need to do which is on the gestalt laws.

I need to pick a subject, then take photographs of that subject using each of the gestalt laws.

I understand the gestalt laws and have looked through examples of images taken using these laws, but Im completly lost as to how to take a photo of the same subject using the gestalt laws.

If I had to pick a different subject for each law I could do it, but that isn't whats being asked.

I know its a long shot but I thought Id ask here if anyone had any hints, tips or examples.

Ive contacted the tutor, who sent me a few links, but Im still lost. Ive sent off another email to him but in the meantime I thought Id try here.

Good grief, they don't want much do they!

If it something about the similarity and related closeness and continuance of curve lines and sameness etc, (all that crap, sorry, meaningful stuff) I racked my brain(s) and all I can come up with as a good subject suggestion is a nice herd of sheep in a yard. So you have a captive grouping with enough separateness and similarity to satisfy them. Or am I on the wrong track? Something else comes back to me about shelled peas and peas in their pods: think I prefer the sheep idea.

Im almost starting to think they've made an error in the assignment and you're meant to pick a different subject for each law. That would be much easier.

I think you are on the right track with the sheep idea. Im still waiting on another reply from the tutor, but ill keep that idea in mind. Thanks!
