ellz Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 When I was looking recently, I narrowed my selection down to: Oldfields Laser Lites Simpson Beacon Jetstream Mk II I ended up going with the Beacon because I previously had a Beacon which I purchased secondhand when it was about 15 years old and it went for another 17 years or so without missing a beat. I sold it and replaced it with a Liberty and regretted it sorely. Sold the Liberty but kept my Liberty Ultraforce and purchased my Beacon a couple of weeks ago and am very happy with it. Do you know where they sell the Simpson,at either retail or wholesale? ETA-just noticed challenge Dog supplies sells them ,they have a Simpson Supajet 2600wts,so it would be pretty good? Dogsfevr Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 AFter many years we have gone back to the Leberty.It really depends on the breeds,the way they want to dry . We have an oldfield & whilst its a great stand dryer once the hose is attached it drive me insane,The hose keeped melting & popping out.I also found it too powerful for my breeds coats.
