sandgrubber
I was reading the three yr C3 Topic and saw an add down at the bottom of the page for "Find a Pet" (Yellow Pages). I tried it, and what did I get . . . a nice list of local pet shops that sell puppies . Maybe someone should look into this . . .
Poodle wrangler
I've seen similar things pop up on breeder's websites, too e.g. google ads for "oodles" on purebred poodles' websites.
tramissa
unfortunately you can't control what comes up in the google ads. The more people mention pet shops, oodles etc, the more likely google will put ads about those things - it picks up on the words used most often and tailors the ads to those themes. DeltaCharlie
Actually you can control it. On another site I used to be a member of there where ads for oodles etc and the site owner emailed yahoo (the source of the ads) and requested that they no longer use those ads on the site. They agreed to it and we never saw another ad like that again.
