Luke W
Hey All,As the subject states just wanting to know what everyone uses to bath their puppies? Rajko is an 11 week old GS is getting a tad smelly. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks heaps I use Aloveen shampoo and conditioner. I also need about 1 tablespoon of peanut butter smeared on the side of the bath to keep him occupied. Plus a handful of chicken treats. Followed by a blow-dry and a brush and comb...he's so much nicer when he's nice  ps - don't use people shampoo - it's too harsh for dogs. The peanut butter is a great suggestion Luke! I wish I had though of that  I normally just pull Gyps into the bath with me!

Poo d'état
Another one for Aloveen Enzo had very noticeable dandruff after his first bath with regular puppy shampoo, as soon as i tried Aloveen i saw instant results, and his coat is a lot softer too. I tihnk I might start showering with Barkly once a fortnight - I suspect it'd be easier and more fun for both of us !!!!!

You sound like me - I read everything and anything non fictional that I can get my hands on, once I get hooked on reading something that's it I've just got to know as much as I can about the topic Edited June 20, 2008 by BIG-DOG-LOVER

Papi_Searcher
My breeder washes the puppies with Baby Shampoo, but I got some FIDO's puppy & kitten - hope that's ok.... It has to be better than the supermarket stuff!
cassie
I loooooooooove the smell of the Aloveen too! Have been tempted to use it on my own hair! ETA: And it makes their coats beautiful and soft! Edited June 21, 2008 by cassie
Bailey9
I also have been using peanut butter on the edge of the laundry tub for many many years. It's a great way to keep their mind on something else... and the air licking that goes on afterwards is hilarious too
