RottnBullies
Hi, I'm about to order some of his cancer treating herbs for my boy, (he has cutaneous hemangiosarcoma) just wanting to know for any that may be using It, how palatable Is It? ie: I'm worried that my boy may not eat once I add to his food Also how Is working for your dog? Much appreciated
persephone
The horse arthritis stuff is ok (I take it as well ) The cat stuff is disgusting... but will be eaten when mixed with canned fish. The human stuff is foul-but ok if swallowed quickly! You will probably have to mix it with something very tasty/strong smelling..or syringe it in directly-followed by a treat! cavNrott
I wouldn't describe it as palatable, it smells awful and tastes worse. I guess it all depends on the dose. My dog is on 5 drops of mistletoe extract twice a day. 5 drops at a time is manageable because I can hide it in some raw minced chicken. I've found minced chicken to be good for hiding stuff because of the texture. It doesn't fall apart like minced beef. Shek and Allerzeit will be able to give you some clues if you need to dose at 20 drops each time. That's the usual start up dose for Rotties with the cancer mixes. Allerzeit
The Osteosarcoma one is VILE The Maritime Pine Extract is ok. With Stewie we used to inject his dosage into chicken necks and pieces of beef heart. If all else failed we would syringe it into his mouth, quickly followed by a treat. I've also had Enya on the Maritime Pine and the Bone Healing Mix and I just drip it into her food without issue - neither smell great, but neither are as strong and vile as the mix Stewie was on. Pixie's mum
We have had two of his treatments. One was to help our dogs allergies which worked well and she no longer needs and the other was to boost the immunity of a new puppy. We put them straight on top of their food and they did not turn their noses up at all. Good luck
sas
We use his treatments for allergies and have no issues in the food or directly in the mouth.
