pie
I went to puppy classes at Wattle Grove vet (run by a dog 'training' place called PUPI, they do puppy class at a few clinics) and I wish I never went as it was mostly a free for all and my little pup ended up being trampled by a Dane pup which didn't help his confidence at all. Sound like the Vetwest ones are okay, but they are probably a bit far from you?

Dog Sense
Maybe someone on this list is near you.http://www.deltasocietyaustralia.com.au/cg...rnaustralia.htm Also try www.apdt.com.au And for a singleton puppy - what about getting in contact with reputable breeders whom you know, who have same-age litters, so your pup gets quasi-litter mates? Even if they're marginally younger, would still be good experience if you are vigilant.
mirawee
Also try www.apdt.com.auAnd for a singleton puppy - what about getting in contact with reputable breeders whom you know, who have same-age litters, so your pup gets quasi-litter mates? Even if they're marginally younger, would still be good experience if you are vigilant. Unfortunately I don't know any breeders with pups around his age. I am actually thinking to just not bother as I still haven't found a puppy preschool that I am happy with (and keep hearing more horror stories). So I think it will be a case of him playing with my other dogs until he is old enough which he loves - it is amusing watching a fluffy 6 week old pup eat a 5 month old kelpies tail. Although the other dogs have crashed and he still wants to play Anyone know where to find the off switch on a puppy? :D
