Rhap, Welshpool is approx 3.5 hours from Melbourne down the South Gippy highway. You can stay at Welshpool or you can stay at the Toora Caravan Park which is about 5 mins from Welshpool.

I absolutely, positively recommend you go and see Paul and do one of his workshops. He is the master when it comes to training a working dog and he's a very nice person too.

Our female comes from Paul, Beloka Tasha. I'm sure she'll be happy to see Grandad one day soon.

Paul might have been the guy I was talking to at Kepala one time. He was telling me about the workshops he was holding. I wish they were held a little closer. I'm really sooky about driving that far.

No that would have probably been David who is Herding_Guy on this forum (albeit he doesn't have access to computer so only comes on every now and again).

David runs herding clinics (one day'ers) accross the road from Kepala.

Paul has never been to "this end" of the woods.

Depending on where you are coming from. I'm in Ascot vale and I've done the trip in 2.25 hrs! Makes it do-able as a day trip

Superminty, this couldn't possibly be done if you're doing the correct speed limit. I've followed you in a car and let's just say that I've had to put 'pedal to the metal' to keep up :( Not that I drive like an old.....well you know the saying!

Go for it rhapsodical78 - we're 2hrs north of Melbourne and then the distance from Melbourne to Welshpool - we'll get to see how the black dog really goes!

Haha. He'd probably have his arse kicked given that he's from show (gasp) lines. But you never know. Both his parents had passed their instinct tests.

Oh yeah, I think that was David. It's all coming back to me. How many people are going, do you know? Also, it doesn't specify times.
