ruthless
Angel is driving me mad. She's licking Trixie's chin and around her mouth so much it's now got a bacterial infection. There was a small wound beside her mouth that started her licking. It got infected but we treated it with Neocort and it cleared up, but the whole area around her mouth and chin is red from Angel's constant licking. Any ideas on how to stop her so it has a chance to clear up?
puggy_puggy
Can you seperate them? What about a spray water bottle and spraying Angel everytime she starts licking? Maybe that woundgard stuff applied on Trixie's chin?
ruthless
They're apart when we're at work. When I catch her doing it I correct her. I'll try the spray, good idea, thanks! I've never heard of woundgard but I'll look into it, cheers
shmoo
Maybe some tabasco sauce on her chin?
~*Shell*~
Because it's so close to Trixie's mouth it's hard to treat with anything that will stop Angel from licking! Maybe ask your vet?
