Luke W
Hi all At the moment he's wearing a thin, nylon, clip plastic buckle type collar. Time for something a bit sturdier. From what I've read, either a flat or rolled leather buckle type collar is the way to go. Should I get a flat one or a rolled one? Any recommendations and where to buy online in Australia? Oh...and a matching lead (1.5m??) I don't mind spending a little bit extra for quality. Cheers and thanks.

NoodleNut
Another that is good is Black Dog (I have martingales from there)http://www.blackdog.net.au/index.php?page=...rt&Itemid=5 I have also had Black Dog stuff until Noodle decided to 'mouth' the lead once or twice while she was teething and wrecked the Black Dog lead GRRRR!!! I hunted around and found Lupine leads and collars. I have bought a lead and collar online http://www.petalia.com.au/templates/prodsu...m?group_no=6143 and found them to be great quality. I was fortunate to also find them on the 'REI outlet' (USA) website and snaffled up a lead, collar and harness at half the price!! Great deal even with the exchange rate and postage! Unfortunately they are out of stock now .. I must have got in quick. I have not found the Lupine range in any stores and I have done a ring around .. great product though, lifetime guarantee even if chewed. Mind you, Noodle no longer mouths the lead

Purpley
I had a black dog, but when the dogs played if a tooth got caught etc, then the collar tightened and the dog would get choked. Not a fan to be honest. (yes my dog are collarless at home, this was prior). The Lupine ones are great, but the colour selection is a bit ummm ;) Both mine have Martingales for training both from Rogz. Flat collars are leather for anything other than training.
