Anyone Going To National Herding Trial In Vic?

Recommended Posts

DOGS Victoria will be hosting the first National Herding Trial on the weekend of June 28-29.

I'm putting together some media information for this event and was just wondering who will be coming along from interstate.

If you have a great story about yourself or your dog, let me know. Anything like herding with a rescue dog, your dog having amazing instincts from its first go, hardship for either of you that you persevered through. Any of that would help us get media attention and bring this fabulous event into the public's eye.

Does anyone know if Tracey is bringing Miss HCH Abigail, the first Herding Champ in Australia? :p THAT would make a great story!

Does anyone know if any other dogs have yet achieved that title? Or is anyone super-close with the possibility of gaining it at the National Trials?

This is just me being 'marketing lady' and throwing around ideas to try and drum up some publicity. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Kind Regards

Karen

I know a few who are going.

Janba i believe is going with Cole her NZ import. Coles sister Jinny is going with her mum. And then Colin one of the NSW herding trainers is also going with some of his team after having had a second knee operation.

I wish all of them the bestest of luck.

Ill be at home with my puppies.

Janba didn't put her entries in

I was tossing up wether it was worth going just for started B as he isn't ready for intermediate A just yet so missed the closing date.

Lets hope jinny keeps the family connection going and doing well

Jinnie will definitely do the family proud and should get her last passes for started A and B titles  , though Poppy/Cath may give her a run for her money.

Poppy/Cath is being spelled so hasnt been entered either. Tho i did get her PT Breeders Certificate today.

Colins wife has her in training for obedience. She has finally doing automatic sits and is getting drop. Beryl is thrilled with her.

I think there is going to be some competition in that family as to who gets to trial her in what.
