Are Bones Bad For A Puppy Teeth?

Just wondering if bones are bad for a 6 month old labradors teeth

No bones are good for dogs and puppies and are a natural way to clean the teeth. Brisket bones are my favourite, they're reasonably soft and the dog can safely eat the entire bone. You can also feed chicken wings (although a large breed will probably swallow them nearly whole) and frames, lamb flaps and various others. I don't feed marrow bones because as a weight bearing bone they're very hard and can wear down the teeth or even break them, they can also cause constipation if the dog gnaws the knuckles off them. All bones should be fed raw.

I think bones are great for puppies, apart from being good for them it distracts them from chewing less desirable objects. I give all my pups bones as soon as they can chew them, as the pups grow the bones get bigger.

Pups need bones as adults also do. They'd also assist them to loose their 2 top baby teeth which they loose as they develop in the first year, that's what the vet told us anyway.
