lovemesideways
I have a 6 month old lab, Ive done basic training on my own with him (sit, down, stay, come)and some tricks (shake (left and right) and roll over(ish )) but I want to go and maybe do some classes. Have some fun! Maybe learn a bit more about training. Meet some new people. Anyone recommend some good classes in sydney? I live on the northern beaches. TerraNik
I have a 6 month old lab, Ive done basic training on my own with him (sit, down, stay, come)and some tricks (shake (left and right) and roll over(ish :D)) but I want to go and maybe do some classes. Have some fun! Maybe learn a bit more about training. Meet some new people. Anyone recommend some good classes in sydney? I live on the northern beaches. I can't recommend any in Sydney because my pup will only start classes this weekend (I trained my previous dog in another city), but on my travels of looking for a club these are some of the clubs that I found: http://www.northernbeachesdogtraining.com.au/index.htm http://www.sabdtc.com/ http://www.sinch.com.au/wsdtc/ http://www.brushfarm.com.au/index.php http://www.hillskennelandtrainingclub.com/ http://www.easternsuburbsdogtraining.org.au/index.html http://www.hornsbydogtrainingclub.org.au/index.html Maybe some people will be able to tell you which one they prefer, but at least that gives you a start??? Kavik
Manly and Districts is probably one of the closest to you (first link above). They train in Mosman and Narrabeen. Haven't been there for a while, but last time I was it had lots of pet owners and some triallers. Most recently I have been to Western Suburbs (third link above). They hold pet classes on Saturday afternoons and trialling classes Tuesday evenings. I've been going to the trialling class, which I enjoy as it is smaller and more focussed.
