persephone
I had a chicken neck tonight and cut it into three bits and mixed it in with her dinner and she is wolfinf down her meal Glad she's eating well It still may not be a good idea to give her chicken necks :D cut in pieces is not ideal..they don't get much of a crunch on the way down... and a crunch or two is sufficient to start the digestion of the bone.. breaks it up, so there is more surface area for gastric juices to work on :D

I watched her like a hawk and she did crunch so that is a good thing. I wont be giving her chicken wings for a little while though. Noodle is back on her food which is good .. the key was I bought some chicken mine and mixed that with a little rice and Eagle Pack and that seems to have remedied the situation. Will ween off the rice and just give her a bit of the chicken mince with the Eagle Pack as I have been changing her slowly over to Eagle Pack Puppy from Advance Puppy. I might consider making some sort of popsicle/largeish block type 'chews from the chicken mince and freezing it so as she has something to chew on and I don'thave to worry about her swallowing chicken necks! Just wondering what wouldbe a good mould? Ideas anyone?
