TempesTal
As far as eye colour goes - It is something that you really can't "breed" in or out. Blue eyes are not recessive in Siberian Huskies the way they are in humans. You can put 2 blue eyed dogs together and get brown eyes, or bi eyes, which is impossible in humans. The eye specialists I have spoken to have said that blue eyes really aren't the issue as far as the real nasty eye diseases go. Blue, brown, bi, parti they can all have good or bad eyes. I wouldn't base any breeding plans on eye colour. JMO

Steve
Re eye colour and gene linkages - a good place to start to look with your reseach into potential correlations with problems and eye colour maybe with Heterochromia and Homologous chromosomes.
