DeerhoundLover
My puppy (9 1/2 weeks) is getting the hiccups about twice a day. Is this anything sinister? Should I worry?

I've always been told it's just a puppy thing and nothing to be concerned about. They outgrow it.

blacklabrador
Just like babies. They get them a lot, some more than others. I have a bitch who got them a lot until she was about 6 months old. As an adult she rarely gets them. We don't know why anybody hiccups - it's a mystery!
Swizzlestick
My boy (20mth Afghan) still gets them. I notice him hiccuping a couple of times a week. They dont last for long though.

Clyde
I found elevating the food bowl or hand feeding helps.
