Allergic Reaction Or Not?

I have 2 adult Alaskan Malamutes which have come up with sores on their noses. I have only had them for about a month now so I am not sure if they have had this before, if they have been bitten by something or if it is an allergic reaction to something....

Ouch!

Are you sure its not fly bites that are bleeding or sunburn that has blistered? It looks like little blisters to me.

Is the red in the top pic blood or somehting you put on there?

If they dont heal within a few days I'd suggest taking them to the vet for a check up.

I booked them in yesterday to see the vet.... I guess I was hoping someone might have some idea as to what they have. In the first pic it's blood, the owner of the place i live in said in might be mozzie bites... I guess i'll find out tomorrow

You don't have a lot of patterson's curse/salvation Jane weed around where you live do you? I had a dog come down with something very similar looking from the little hairs on that weed many years ago.

Ohhh that looks painfull.

Is it only on their noses?

Make sure the vet takes a swab and test for things like Strep & Staph as well as other fungul sorts of things.

How long have their noses been like that? You may also try something like Physohex (the human acnea facewash) to gentley bath them with and then some sort of antibiotic cream could be put on.

Let us know what the vet comes up with.
