Kirislin
I am very conscious of marking the screen on my new canon. I've discovered there's such a thing as screen protectors It's a whole new world for me. Any recommendations as to the best ones please? Kirislin
so.... would I be right in assuming they're not worth using then.
Ripley
You can get them off ebay. OH got me one and it was extremely annoying and I ended up accidently snapping and breaking it whilst trying to close it.
Kirislin
Oh, I imagined something clear plastic that just stuck on the screen not something that opens and closes. Still, since you're the only one to reply I think they mustn't be worthwhile. Thanks for responding. Linda
chezzyr
Yes, I use screen protectors on my cameras. They are like clear self-adhesive stickers. I can't remember where we got them from now, sorry. But if you are worried about marking or scratching the screen I would recommend them. I am not sure what type Ripley is talking about :D
Ripley
It looked like this Review of it http://catalog.ebay.com/Delkin-eFilm-DND50...2116727QQ_tabZ3
MelodysMum
I use the same sort of clear plastic film screen protectors that Chezzyr uses, although probably not the same brand. I am much happier knowing the screen will not get scratched. :D
wagsalot
I haven't mananged to scratch the screen on mine yet. I've had it two years. I've looked after it, but haven't been pedantic. I think if your careful you wouldn't really need one ? Edited May 2, 2008 by wagsalot
chezzyr
Given that I drag my equipment through the scrub its a worthwhile investment for me :D I think they are quite cheap anyway.
Rysup
I saw some for Mobile phones at the 3 shop a few weeks back, I imagine you could trim them to fit your camera screen?
cazzie
Just got some of the clear ones from the camera shop for hubbys Canon 40D, well worth the while and easy to apply! cost around $9.00 for a pack
Kirislin
thanks for the replies. I notice alot of greasy marks on mine, even though I try not to touch it and also try to have clean hands it always seems to have my greasy paw prints on it.
