Missymoo
ok so I noticed a little swelling around one of Looeys eyes a couple of days a ago, she was fine and happy and normal, so I asumed she had been bitten by somthing and just left it. Three days later I have noticed it has gone to the other eye, so I took her up the vet. There are no scratches on the eye balls but small cysts inside the lower lid. Since she is in whelp they have put her on antibiotics straight into the eye. The vet dosnt think this will be strong enough to treat the infection..I am putting in this cream 4 times a day then take her back in two days for check. what to do, what to do... Looey is happy, eating and healthy otherwise... Edited April 8, 2008 by Missymoo
Dogsfevr
With eyes i would always be worried the infection may cause blindness Maybe ask what meds they would like to use & then research

oakway
I would not be concerned about her going onto antibiotics. Many breeders put their bitches on a course of antibiotics about 12 to 14 days before the due date. (That doesn't mean I do).
