Tatelina
Hello! I have two naughty mongrel girls (ah bless them <3 ) that I want to teach into well mannered nice ladies. Do people generally go to their breed dog clubs to learn things more advanced than sit and drop? Where do mix breed dog lovers go? I'm in Burwood in Sydney so anything close would be great!! Tatelina
And is there a thread already with a 'Beginners guide to agility tests and flyball' etc?? There is so much talk about all these competitions and results that aren't from showing and I'm curious!
Kavik
Western Suburbs Dog Training trains at Bressington Park, Homebush. Tuesday evenings for trialling class (you don't have to be trialling standard, but they train trialling exercises) and Saturday afternoons for pet obedience classes. http://www.sinch.com.au/wsdtc/

squeak
This is a list of dog training clubs in the Sydney Metro area from the DOGSNSW website. If you are interested in going to any of them, I would give them a call just to check that their times haven't changed. http://www.dogsnsw.org.au/regions-metro-training-clubs

Lacey13
I go to Centennial Park. It's popular, going on the numbers of people that turn up each week! The classes can be quite large - especially for new starters. You might be better getting some one on one attention from someone. That said - regular attendance at a club is a great way to know how your progressing and fo socialising with like minded dog folk. Good luck
MonElite
The list in the link that squeak provided covers only the clubs that are affiliated with DOGS NSW.
