Foo Off-season Melbourne Meet

Recommended Posts

Dunno but I have no info about it and am currently doing agility at Croydon so am not very impressed.

Jules - don't be unimpressed - it's only for those that are trialling at CDODC, or thinking of instructing (agility)..... which I don't think you are... as you are only going through the modules .

TSD - don't think you would be able to sit in

Sorry - I shouldn't have opened my mouth, but I wanted you to know there were other things going on at the grounds also, and I might be 'flitting' a little bit

The agilty stuff will probably be set up in front of the club rooms. When you enter the carpark, the club rooms are to the left. If you swing to the right I reckon we will be able to find room there. The rings are usually in that part of the ground at trials (still there LP??). I'll still be there at 2.00pm then.

Is this a social event or a serious training session?

My intent was to do some serious training - although I'm sure Ziggy would prefer to do some socialising :(

I'm not familiar with how these sessions are usually run and am certainly leaving that up to those in the know. I just wanted to organise something so I could pick everyone's brains

Yeah...last time we probably spent more time talking (about training problems) than actual training, but we also did run throughs for those that wanted to and a little bit of vid making etc.

Those that had training problems threw them up for group discussion and experiences were shared etc.

Appart from meeting some of the dolers that I have not yet met........my main goal is to familiarise Oscar to the train (and grounds) and use it to proof focus in heeling in preperation for the Croydon trial the following weekend.

Anyone is welcome Haven.

Hey that is what a training session is for! to train and learn stuff! I'll be bringing my 6 month old pup and my 2yo who has been doing agility for a couple of months and can't remember how to even heel!!

I might be able to make it, but neither of my two have had much training for quite some time now, I don't want to be embarrassed :D

Don't worry Haven, Geordie's suprelorin implant has just run out and he's lost his brain now! Last night I had to tell him to go outside to pee 3 times before he actually did.
