Wendysdarwin
Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any ideas about a 'leave on conditioner'? I wonder if mink oil will work with a double coated breed, anyone tried it?
Clyde
I've always used Aloveen Leave In Conditioner and LOVE it. I use it on my clients dogs too. Although not wire haired etc breeds as it really softens the coat. Smells fab too
ashka1
I used Plush puppy Seabreeze Oil on the Newfoundlands for the first time on the weekend...I am impressed, not at all oily or greasy but left with great coat condition and amazing shine, the coat did not go flat, so easy to groom!! I have a friend who uses it all the time (1 tspn in a warm hyrdobath final rinse) and their dogs coats are glorious.
Dog_Horse_Girl
Hi Wendy, I use Aloveen conditioner after shampooing with Aloveen shampoo. How's Andy's skin going? Any improvement with the herbals in play? Ruby's doing much better after a minor set-back a few weeks ago where she was scratching herself raw. I've upped the dose of skin allergy mix slightly which has helped enormously.
InspectorRex
The people that make the Cholestorol Cream- Queen Helene(?) have a spray in conditioner. I shampoo and conditon my Collies and as I am drying them I spray this into their coats. They come up a treat too
MelodysMum
I also use Aloveen Leave In Conditioner after using Aloveen Shampoo, and I love it. It leaves the coat silky soft, and Clyde is right, it smells wonderful!
lucknow
I use Aloveen too. I use about enough to cover a 20c piece for my Dobe size dog. It was great for the ferrets when we had 'em too.
Andisa
I have been using Groomers Edge "Tangles Away" from Double K now for quite a while on my dogs and clients dogs. I love this stuff. Just spray it on dry or after a bath and towel dried, then dry it with the drier. I love the feel and the smell like coconut afterwards. My clients just rave about it for weeks after they have been groomed.
