kirada1
I hope someone can help me here. I am in Adelaide and am planning a litter of Standard Poodle babies mid year. With this litter I would like to purchase ? a cubby house for puppies which has nooks and crannies, a tunnel and possible a ramp for them to play in. I saw something in America but for the life of me I cannot remember where. Is anything like this available without taking out a bank loan for baby puppies to stimulate there brains and give them a good start in life. If not, a suitable tunnel for them to run in and out of Looking forward reading replies. Jacqui
sandyl
What about getting a play pen and filling it with goodies? Upside down carboard box = cubby? Then replace it when it's been chewed through. Tennis balls, large rubber toys etc are good for pups. Don't leave any small objects unsupervised with the pups, they might choke on them. You can get $20 "play pens" from bunnings. It's called something like "compost bin," but looks exactly like a play pen. It comes as 4 metal panels, which you can cable tie together. For a bigger pen you can buy 2 lots. Do a search on "compost bins" on the forums for pictures, there has been a few threads on them recently. Hope this helps, Goodluck!

HI Sandrasm Thanx for your imput. I am actually not looking for a pen itself as my puppies have free run like my adults. This is a play station so they stimulate their little minds whilst playing at an early age. Jacqui

NaturallyWild
Jacqui Look at this website - the guy makes the equipment in Melbourne, I'm sure it could be sihpped easily. http://www.boroondaradogtraining.com.au/Cr...%20Comforts.htm Otherwise go to Ikea for their childrens tunnel ($30). Thanx NaturalltyWild The small tunnel would be perfect and love the fold up surface trainer - I will contact this guy for sure. If there are other sites, I am open for suggestion. hey Sandrasm you wouldn't beilieve who I have asked and what I searched for - nearly bought a kids cubby house, with sandpit clams, table chairs and even a push peddle car - lol but somehow I don't think puppies would have their licence by then Jacqui
Staff'n'Toller
Ron makes really good stuff, and his shipping fees are generally quite good. The surface trainer is awesome, I have the step/ramp combo for puppy school. I found a kids tunnel at Safeway, but in puppy school obviously I hold it so it doesn't move, you might want to look at making some small sandbags for it so the pups don't roll it and get a fright whilst exploring. poodlefan
Not sure about how long it would last but Deals Direct have this Price is worth trying I'd also suggest you add a wobble board (piece of board with a rubber ball under or PVC tubing) to the play pen.
