Cat
Hi! I've noticed the past couple of days my pup has made noises like he is chewing on something hard, but when i've looked there is definately nothing there or anything stuck to his teeth. Today he was doing it and started pawing at his mouth as well and a molar fell out. I don't know if he is chewing on his teeth or grinding them. he is five months old so i assume he is teething, but I just wanted to know if all this is normal or if I should be concerned. lucknow
Teeth can make some funny noises when they are loose, everything sounds textbook teething. Give him lots of chew toys and bones if he is a bit 'mouthy'.
BC
Quite normal. Wobbly teeth make funny noises, and prob looks as though pup is chewing on something as it is swallowing the baby teeth as they come out  I love stepping on sharp puppy teeth on the floor  :D
Cat
Thanks for the replies. I thought I may have been worrying about nothing. I have been giving him some ice blocks and got him some bones today which will hopefully make him happier...or at least less mouthy.

Strumer
For what it's worth, our puppy preschool instructor suggested giving teething pups frozen chicken wings or brisket bones - achieves two purposes, cooling/soothing the gums and providing great chewing material. I can't speak for anyone else, but it works fantastically for Loki...then again she is still on her first set of teeth...
