Grooming Table Wanted

Hi guys

I'm after a Grooming Table (new or used) and having trouble finding one that's not a fortune to post or a fortune to buy.

Anyone have any ideas?

Also wondering about stand dryer recommendations?

If anyone has either of the above to sell let me know, or know a fab place where I can grab a table (not the crap on Ebay ;) )

Cheers

I have one almost identical, except my dad made it. And it only cost around $300. I just bought a motor bike stand, which is all that is too, cut off the top plates and put a top on it, in the size I wanted!!. They are great for large dogs.

Maybe hunt around your area for a motorbike stand and go from there, much cheaper than buying one already made.

That's a great idea! But I am sadly lacking in the 'handy' department. My Step Dad made my current one but it's had its day ;)

I wish I was handy as I know what I want but everything seems to be lacking one small thing IYKWIM which makes it hard.

Have just found a heap and am now just plain confused

Hi,

I just went and looked at the grooming tables on e-bay and they are the normal standard, small and large that are offered at all good dog shops.

I just went to e-bay and typed in dog grooming tables all categories

They even had some adjustable with grooming arms.

Don't buy the "cheap" (about $450) manual hydraulic ones off e-bay (think the brand started with C but I have thrown away the packaging now and can't remember the brand)! I bought a supposed large one and while the top is large enough for a big dog the table is so wobbly that a big dog would not be or feel safe on one. It seems OK for SWF's and I have DIY'ed a four legged table for the big dogs now - unfortunately I also have to DIY a ramp to get them up there :D
