pennyw74
I tried to give my puppy the Sentinel tablet on the weekend. Well, she played with it, pounced on it, backed away from it, nibbled it, spat it out, licked it, chased it and did everything but chew and eat it. We eventually had to "force" it down like other tablets. I thought the whole idea of a beef flavoured tablet was so that she would actually eat it. Any suggestions? Cut it into little pieces and shove them into pieces of hot dog, or chicken or something that she will actually eat. That way she wont even know the tablet is in there
jaegertheweim
I always just put it at the very back of their throats for them to swallow.. much easier than sitting there and waiting for them to eat it You could try some peanut butter on it? The Spotted Devil
That is exactly what Zig did with his first one.....I think it's a novel food so it can take the curious ones a while to work it out. After half an hour of playing, I ended up popping it down his throat....after which he spent 10 minutes looking for it Idiot He's fine with it now and just loves it - I actually use it as a training treat. He takes it off to his bed and quietly chomps it up

I'll try again next month.
