charlie mouse
Hi'a Does anyone know where i can get my clipper blades and scissors sharpened around Adelaide or preferably South of Adelaide. Mine are well over due for a sharpening. Thanks
puggy_puggy
I know that Lincraft has a sharpening service. I know that they are material people but you would think that someone that sharpens material scissors would also do other sorts of sharpening. Maybe Bunnings has a sharpening service. Miranda
I just sent all my scissors and clipper blades to Clipper World in Cranbourne, Victoria. One pair of straight edge scissors were so blunt that they wouldn't cut at all and they came back as sharp as when I first purchased them. I know they're not in Adelaide, but they give excellent service. I have used other sharpening services and been pretty unimpressed with the results, but this guy is brilliant and I would highly recommend him. They have a website Clipperworld Edited February 26, 2008 by Miranda
Doggrooma
I use Clipper World too, excellent to deal with, fast and reliable.
DOGFATHER
My hairdressing sister-in-law uses a mobile service for her scissors and blades, she is very happy with the service but she is in the northern suburbs. There is a mobile service in the yellow pages that operates from Port Noarlunga called "Scissor Success". Give them a call, be specific, see if they can do what you want. cheers Edited February 26, 2008 by DOGFATHER
Doggrooma
I'd go with a highly recommended sharpener if it were me. Not done correctly will cause damage. Not to mention the money and time wasted. Express post you will only be without them 2-3 days if your organised.
