Alibi
Just wondering what supplements people add to their dogs diet. I have been adding to their food (eagle pack and euk low-residue) Joint Gard - for their joints as they are getting older Thrive D - One especially gets funny tummys and is hard to keep weight on Megaderm - they get megaderm every second night for skin and coat And at the moment a probiotic due to the recent bout of tummy upsets of the older one. puggy_puggy
I add to my BARF vegi slops: Flaxseed Oil Kelp Grains I am not sure if I need to add anything else as I think to myself in the wild they would not be having all of these extra suppliments and I feed a good diet. Dogsfevr
If the diet is right you dont need to add to much if anything. I have 2 dogs that require extra 1 gets cranberry tabs 1 gets magnesium tabs the big dogs from puppihood get glucomisone. Other than that nothing for skin coat as a good diet covers that. kelpiesrule
I dont give anything extra to my dogs at the moment, they seem to be doing very well on their Proplan diet... I have done things like give Chamomile tea and calming Bach flower remedies to an overactive dog when I was doing obedience trials with her... Hmm for the underactive dog, why not look at some Bach flower remedies... Im sure there would be many people here who could recommend something for a sluggish dog. Swizzlestick
One of mine doesnt have any supplements. The other one is fed Eukanuba Large Breed and has flaxseed oil for his ever growing coat, and Glucosamine/Chondroitin for his joints.
