StaceyB
I was having a cuddle with Gypsy last night and i noticed that she has some little lumps all over her legs, to me the look like mozzie bites that people would normally get. We also have a big ant problem so it could be ant bites as well. Do you think this would be a valid explanation? I realise that you can't say for sure without seeing the lumps, but Gypsy is my first dog so I'm a bit paranoid and neurotic about things.... I have been wondering the same thing as my boy is constantly itchy and snaps at his butt and back and all I can think is mozzies and snadflies must be biting him and that causes the itching yet no bumps come up. ;)
Poodle wrangler
I'm in a paralysis tick area and use Advantix because it covers mozzies as well as fleas and paralysis tick. pricelesspets.com.au is good.
Poppy's mum
Yes, they can be mozzie bites or sandfly bites or hives...Vet suggested I use Advantix too.
