CrabyLion
well it is done :D i know ive done the right thing, there was no question today was the day i sat with him and put the sprinklers on for him while we waited for the time to come, he loved watching the water and drinking out of the sprinkler, so i thought it would be a good way to bring some peace to him the lovely vets at vetwest joondalup were good enough to come to the house and it was a very peaceful passing, from flat to sleeping in my arms after it was done, the vets let the dogs come see that it was done and hobs gave him a smell and a big lick as usual and sniffed around the spot on the couch where we lay him on a towel he was the most amazing kitty cat who was the BOSS of the dogs to any who came on the property, he made no bones about staking his place in the family hierarchy, with 445am wake up calls to feed him when HE was hungry (thank you very much! lol) i think its safe to say he held top position for the 9 years he was with us. i got him as a week kitten of 7 weeks old, and from the start he was a dogs cat, being greeted on arrival by Jessy the border collie heeler x who was bought shortly after we arrived in Australia. when he was 6 months old he recieved a whopping dose of brown snake bite, that should have been the end of him there, it seems so unfair to lose him now to this disease - he was feline leukemia and feline aid positive this year we will mark 10 years in aus, in October, Morris turned 9. We also lost our 12 month old pup last year, and the morning of his passing he gave morris a big lick, as if he knew he was going first and would see him soon. I know that Bundy would have greeted Morris at the bridge and that after a few licks he would have had his snout swatted back into subordination Morris you were the best kitty, best friend and i hope your journeys are full of love and life and eternal peace and freedom from the mouth pains that defined your last year with us , im sorry I took so long to give you your wings, but i truely believed you wanted each day that you could have, and if i was right, then i have done the right thing by you rest well my sweet mousziewowsers
