sigzephyr Posted January 29, 2008 Share Posted January 29, 2008 I have just got some lamb flaps for my raw fed whippets from a new butcher. These ones have a thick layer of fat on them. Do I need to trim all this fat off before feeding them? They are really much fattier than the ones I usually get. I don't want to risk my dogs getting sick. Any advice? They even had fat within them, which I couldn't get out. I hope i got enough fat off. Maybe I should throw them out. I won't make that mistake again. Only ended up getting 4 dinners for $10. Otherwise, use roo tails or lambshanks, chicken frames , or rabbits , maybe?
