First Time Puppy Owner
Just wanted to know if you should wait till the day that you usually give the advocate spot on treatment to begin using sentitel spectrum only 10 days away. Or can you do it now? Thank you for your help! :D
Poodle wrangler
Sentinel Spectrum covers fleas, doesn't it? So, add the Advantix and you're doubling up on flea preventative. Advantix also covers paralysis ticks and mozzies. A cheaper alternative would be something like Interceptor Spectrum + Advantix next time you buy. THat's the combo I use. I'd start the Sentinel when the Advantage was due. Advantix- if you're in a tick area ASAP to get your dog protected (I think it needs to be put on at least 48 hours after a bath). First Time Puppy Owner
The Advantix is for ticks, mozzies and sandflies mainly - as I live near Boondall wetlands and we have a new species of mozzie in the area that can breed in saltwater, plus the sandflies (midgies) are horrendous this year because of all the rain we have had The council I feel are not doing enough to prevent the swarms we are getting at the moment :D :D
