StaceyB
We went away for the long weekend and Gypsy stayed with a friend, since we got home she hasn't been interested in her food at all. I'm not really too worried about it at the moment because I figure she'll eat when she gets hungry enough and it's only been 1 night, but is this sort of thing normal for when a dog has been boarded or looked after when the owners go away for a little while? Cheers guys, Stacey
puggy_puggy
Um I have heard of cats doing this as well as ignoring their owners, when they get back from holidays, but not dogs. The holidaying pugs and rescue pugs that I have had stay here have never been off their food when they returned home or have been adopted. But pugs are really pigs and love food. StaceyB
One of the cats is doing that to me, she comes into the room yells at me for a minute and then takes off again. Silly little snot. I suppose Gypsy could just be comepletely stuffed from playing with my friends 2 little dogs all weekend. If she's still off her food tomorrow I think I might take her to the vet for a check over... lizzie
My cats do that to me when we go away for the weekend and give me death stares as well. Our foxie will go off his food when we are away but then he isnt a big eater anyway. She will eat when she gets hungry.
