moggy
I have been using Frontline Plus on Sophie for 3 months now. All went well until I applied the last dose and she went crazy. Ran around the room rubbing on things obviously trying to get rid of it. Is this usual? I am worried about using it again. Is there any other flea treatment which is successful? She has never had a flea before and as she sleeps with us I don't want her to get them. Moggy
Doggrooma
My Goldie does that to, no irritation in sight and she has done it with all the line on treatments ive used. I wouldnt be concearned greatly unless you can see the skin is clearly irritated.
Poodle wrangler
My dogs go crazy after a bath- rubbing themselves on things, zoomies around the yard etc. Perhaps it's a similar thing? If there's no obvious skin reaction, I'd not worry. I'd be happier to be flea and tick free. You need to wait 48 hours after a bath to apply it- for there to be more oil in the skin. puggy_puggy
I have heard of that type of reaction happening with pugs with Frontline & Advantix. People think that their have been bad batch's or something. Have a read of this thread from OzPugs about reactions: http://www.ozpugs.com/viewtopic.php?t=81089 I think you probably wont be able to see photos unless you are a member. I use Revolution on my kids and have never had a problem.
