Also big congrats to Leopuppy and ALL HER PASSES - talk about getting greedy Just kidding, I hope that when we come back to the ring later this year that my kids can be half as competitive! leopuppy04
Thanks everyone for their congrats! I still can't believe it... yes - it was a bit greedy, but I'm sure I'll live with myself SW - I'm sure once your dogs get into the groove - you'll leave us all for dead!!! LOL! Helen - will be great to see you around the rings again
Tassie
Wow, Leopuppy - what a day - you must still be on cloud 9. Congrats on the Open Agility pass, ness - though commiserations to Ness on not managing to give little Miss Kenzie away. I can imagine you were mobbed by admirers and puppy patters My Miss Kirra got her first Novice Snooker Q yesterday - missed Ex. Gamblers - did the challenge, but not enough points in the opening sequence - my bad - I was trying to rush - and we won't talk about our Excellent Pairs run - other than to say that 4 goes to get the DW completed is waaaay too much time - we find that if one dog goes off, both of them do - and of course then we tend to panic - not a pretty sight - but heaps of fun. Tassie
Congratulations Tassie. Are you coming to the Nationals? Yep, Helen - all being well. Entries are in - just booked the ferry yesterday. We're coming over the weekend before to do Hastings as well. I'm really looking forward to it - especially catching up with people and watching the big guns run. Silvawilow
Gee I'm chatty this morning Travelled to Melbourne to do some tracking training with the lady who's handling Kira and Narmi for an upcoming tracking trial and boy the girls were both lovely! It was really nice to be able to watch them work (from under the ground sheet). I think we've found a sport where Narmi's better than Kira! She was a little trooper, right out on the end of 12metres and going like a litttle yellow train!!! The only thing that worried Narmi was there was a piece of black plastic rubbish 10m away from the track and she was convinced that there was a doggy monster in there, had to stop and give it a good look Really looking forward to the trial now, Kira's doing Test 1 and Narm's doing her TQT. Border Lover
We finally built up the courage to enter our first obedience trial. And YAY, 1st place with 95/100 in CCD. and a quallie! Woohoo! I'm so happy right now.

superminty
Congrats to everyone on recent achievements. Brag from Broadmeadows today. In her first trial since this trial two years ago (if my memory serves me correct, it was a long time ago), Minty got her 2nd Open pass with a score of 192 and first in the ring!! The wind was shocking and put a lot of dogs off but we came through really well, had a ball and my little girl loved every minute of it (which is the whole point of trialling if you ask me) so I am thrilled. Very very excited
dogdude
Well done Superminty! Extreme conditions!!!!!!!!!!! Great score!
superminty
Thanks :D It was really nice after how people kept coming up and saying what a lovely working dog she was and how happy and keen she looked, seeing as we gave obedience away 2 years ago due to lack of enthusiasm and frustration. I have learnt a lot since then - in particular how to make it FUN! Now I just gotta find a local(ish) trial before the weather gets too warm to finish off the title! Was just a couple of points off high in trial too, something I never thought we'd even get close to
smisch
As of the 28-6-08 jock became Jock NJC! Novice Jumping certificate! he got his first ever agility pass at the ADAC trial last satuday! with a 1st and 3rd place!!
leopuppy04
Don't know if this is a brag or 'come cry with me' post. After some 'difficult' trials with the little miss who didn't know how to deal with her mum's nerves, Kinta pulled off another pass today - 89/100 and 3rd place. That's the good bit. The afternoon trial was a dream... she worked the best ever in a trial situation and was sitting on 97/100. I only lost her on one RAT in fast pace.... 10 seconds to go in the sit stay.... and that was enough for her  : Sigh.... soooo close! Gayle.
Congrats on the pass, and I'll commiserate with you on the sit stay cos that's an identical situation to what I had with Benson a few weeks ago. I coulda cried! But on the other hand, I was extremely pleased with his lovely ring work.
