poodlefan
Any dog can be eligible to compete in agility. If he is on limited register, he can compete on those papers in ANKC agility. Dogs without pedigree papers can be registered as Associates for ANKC agility. The other forms of agility register any dog. Agility isn't easy for a Great Dane (especially the tunnels) but there's at least one out there with some ANKC titles. kelpiechick
There's a Great Dane in Queensland doing well at agility, so I've heard. You might also want to check out this link for run down of Great Danes in US doing agility at the highest level.
stormie
The dane in Qld is Ch. Thunderfire Brilliant Csaba. Remember that a 10month old dane still has a lot of growing and developing left to do. It's best to keep things gentle with them until they have stopped growing. You can still practice tunnels and do a few small jumps here and there, but best not to do anything too hard for a growing dane pup.
bridgie_cat
There is a Dane I see doing agility around victoria I think... or SA... we are close to the border.. I get confused Max height = 600 - so he just steps over the jumps Do it! See if he enjoys it! Just make sure you keep him at a good weight - the bigger the dog, the more stress it is on joints etc to be jumping and carying any extra weight ;)
