Guest KOJAK
It is with sadden heart and at the moment hard to believe I have just finished burying Sonar. This morning at 10-30am we had some people over to see the puppy that are receiving and also met Sonar Jessie and Chloe They left about 12noon and I decided to let the older dogs go for a swim as is the normal procedure. Sonar up until then had shown no signs of any thing wrong .When he emerged from the pool he suffered with Bloat, Because of his age an the accuate stage of his condition I chose the kindest thing even though it has broke our hearts, Like evryone who has lost a canine friend you know what Jeanette and I are feeling at the moment. So cruel to think here we are celebrating all these new puppies and this has to happen. RIP SONAR UHLMSDORF GRAND SONAR AZ BSC1 CD ET dob 30-5-1997 Deceased 30-12-2007 love my gwerman shepherds Kojak This chair is very empty at the moment love you Sonar gone but never forgotten

KOE
Oh Bob and Jeanette what a horrible thing for you to endure. Please accept our sympathies love W, Kim Oliver and Elka Please share the poem I received when Riles passed and hope you find comfort in it like I did. I was standing on a hillside in a field of flowing wheat And the spirit of a German Shepherd Dog was lying at my feet He looked at me with kind dark eyes ancient wisdom shining through And in the essance of his being his love shone clear and through His mind did lock upon my heart as I stood there that day And he told me of this story of a place so far away His tale did put my heart at ease my fears did fade away About what lay ahead of me on a distant day I live among gods creatures now in the heavens of your mind So do not grieve for me my friend as I am with my kind My collar is a rainbow hue my leash a shooting star My boundries are the milky way where I sparkle from afar There are no pens or kennels here and I am not confined But free to roam gods heaven's among my shepherd kind I nap the day on a snowy cloud gentle breezes rocking me And dream dreams of earth and how it used to be The trees are full of liver treats and tennis balls abound And milk bones line the walkways just waiting to be found And even is a ring set up the grass all lush and green And everyone who gaits around becomes best of breed For we are all winners in this place we have no faults you see And god passes out those ribbons to each one even me I drink from waters laced with gold my world a beauty to behold And wise old dogs do form my pride to amble at my side At night I sleep in angels arms her wings protecting me And moonbeams dance about us as stardust falls on thee So when your life on earth is spent and you stand at heavens gate Have no fear of lonliness for here you know I wait. Rest in peace Sonar,

Guest KOJAK
Jeanette and myself do thankyou you all for your replys online and also personal e-mails and calls it does help with healing when things are tough SONAR was wonderful ambassador to the German Shepherd breed like all of my dogs that have participated in teaching people not to be afraid of such a large dog going to schools hospitals and retirement villages he has crossed over but will not be forgotten, Many a tear has been shed today as well as laughs of things that we can remember that he got up to, Our Grandaughter from townsville who arrived yesturday was very upset but she has her Nanna Jeanette to explain where Sonar has gone The irony of this I was taking a video of Sonar and Jessie and Chloe swimming in the pool and I have it on film and you can see as Sonar left the pool straight away he started to vomit and was frothing at the mouth and then the tell tale story with side of the stomache swelling and when you tapped it very hollow sounding He will look over us as all of our dogs that have gone before May you and all your furkids and your family have wonderful 2008 Thankyou so much again Bob Jeanette
