onyx
My 3 year old black lab has about 4 small red wart looking looking things under her arm pit of her front leg (i know dogs dont have arm-pits but best way to describe position). I have never noticed them before. She does often throw herself into whatever pool of smelly, stagnent water she can find and goes for long walks/plays in grass/parklands. Do we think it is just bug bites/ alergic reaction to something or something more serious. They dont hurt her when I touch them and she does not seem to be licking or rubbing them at all. Anything to worry about? Thanks for help.
Staffyluv
If in doubt, get them checked out! Any small wart, lump growth should be check - coming from one that should have heeded her own warnings. They could just be skin tags - nothing to worry about at all but they could also be something else, if I were you, I would rather pay the money and have a vet tell me they are nothing at all. cavNrott
I agree. Please take the dog to the vet and have these warty things checked out. I run my hands over my dogs every night just to make sure there is nothing there that wasn't there yesterday. Anything new that I can't identify and the dogs go to the vet.
