Rom
Do you guys want to come to QLD and do a similar workshop?? That sounds like a great idea Hey! You guys getting greedy??? Steve's already up in QLD in the next few months, doing a workshop isn't he? Or is that Perth? Or somewhere else? You're kidding me, he's coming up here in the next few months ??? Yes, I'd love to get Steve up here again this year....and Erny too! K9: Rom from this forum was thinking of setting up another workshop in Qld, havent heard from her in a while, perhaps give her a PM... Sorry about that I need to find a venue in Brisbane and I was only able to get down there for Xmas day due to work commitments. If anyone can suggest a venue that will be available for a weekend, that would be great! Sorry to go OT Erny.

MissMaddy
Will the 3 days be similar (as in you attend one day) or is it set up so you attend all 3 days?
Erny
Will the 3 days be similar (as in you attend one day) or is it set up so you attend all 3 days? You will be able to purchase ticket/s for any of the days you want to go if you can't make all 3 days. Each day will be different and you will learn, but they will "tie in" with each other. To get the maximum out of the event, a ticket for all 3 days will be the best. The 3 day ticket is discounted too. Erny
Sorry everyone - the delay is my fault. Had to take my father to an eye specialist appointment this morning. Apart from massive amounts of time waiting around, one test lead to another and another ....... the result being that I didn't get back home until only a couple of hours ago, when I envisaged being back by mid-day. A full day gone! I have everything organised so that Steve and I can synchronise our email "send" buttons  . I expect this will happen now tomorrow. My apologies again, but please stand-by. wagalot
i have a question?????? on sat and sun, if i chose to bring a dog, does that mean bring a dog that has problems, or can i bring my dog that may not have any issues to be fixed?????? does that make sence Also am considering bringing Tya my dingo, if he is aloud, would love to talk more about drive with him, and what you guys think of him too (he is a well behaved, trained dingo, that is also good with other dogs, just in case you are worried) I am interested in coming mainly because i own a pet care care business as well as a trainer and am involved in dog sports. thanks Sam

But since I want to attend the Sunday seminar he could most definitely be used to demonstrate stuff.

Judi & I have agreed to bust our butts to make this one something to remember! W: i have a question??????on sat and sun, if i chose to bring a dog, does that mean bring a dog that has problems, or can i bring my dog that may not have any issues to be fixed?????? does that make sence :p K9: you can bring any dog you can handle, we may work with all or only some of the dogs, time dependant. Dogs wont leave the workshop "fixed" as such, behaviour modification takes time. Also am considering bringing Tya my dingo, if he is aloud, would love to talk more about drive with him, and what you guys think of him too ;) (he is a well behaved, trained dingo, that is also good with other dogs, just in case you are worried) K9: As I said, any dog you like, I would love to see wildy high drive hyper dogs when talking about training in drive, they make the best demos... K9: when it comes to bringing a dog, some who have attended more tha one have felt that sometimes they prefer to learn without the dog there, less distracting, others like to have the dog there, not many places you can actually take your dog these days & we also may work that dog.. We may not work every dog there, there are many variables such as how many dogs, how many questions etc etc, but we will try & give a good coverage.. You could bring your dog & if i is crate trained bring the crate. Not sure what you mean by basket case, but the crate can help an anxious dog through the day... Silvawilow
K9: As I said, any dog you like, I would love to see wildy high drive hyper dogs when talking about training in drive, they make the best demos... That's why I want to bring Kiz - she's absolutly MAD and has a really high drive - balls, tugs, me moving, chicken, cheese (anythings good in her books), she use to be an absolute skitz in agility but have learnt how to use that hyper to my advantage, been a long process and learning curve. Still haven't worked out how to do it with obedience. I think my brain has gone on strike Looking forward to it (but not the 3 hr trip down though).
