benny123
I usually buy the Woolworths Home Brand triple pack of sardines for the dogs. When I open a can tonight I realised that I'd picked up the ones in tomato sauce. I threw them out and gave the dogs the King Oscar sardines from the human food stash. Would the tomato sauce ones be bad for dogs? If so could I rinse them?....I bought 3 triple packs

Henrietta
Ok, I'll confess that when I first started my dogs on a mixture of raw and dry (pre-barf) I thought I was supposed to use sardines in tomato sauce. Until I found out otherwise. Yes, my dogs are fine!

millie
When we've had bitches who've had pups and are being finicky eaters I always use the sardines in tomato sauce as I can't stand the smell of the ones in oil.
