Rash Around Puppies Bits

My bulldog puppy has a red rash that goes around the side of her fanny.she is rubbing herself across the carpet to itch it.

Is there anything I can by for this?

I went to the vets for some rash cream and they said they had to examine her first and that they cant get me in til monday.Is there any human cream we can give?

I think its like thrush or something.It also started with smaller rash so I dont know if it was a heat rash and then it got itch.Its not bothering her much and she doesnt rub it much but I would like to start fixing it.

if you think it is thrush the creams from chemist for women would work and they also get rid of fungal bacteria aswell

some times red rashes on that area and back of legs can be fleas bites

aleo vera is good for soothing things

thanks for that.she has no fleas so I dont think it is caused by them.I will try both aloe vera and thrush cream.

wasted sure if we could use human stuff

I use Ungvita for regular rashes, but not for anything fungal.

because this area is often moist with f/male puppies it can occur @ times I always swear by ILIUM NEOCORTcream good for all sorts of rashes or tiny sores obtainable from pet supply barns i think try to keep the area as dry as possible good luck -cocker lover

The Ilium is good stuff, and also grab some Malaseb Medicated Shampoo. Always handy to have it close by anyway if she is going to be prone to the itchies.

Are there any piccies of this puppy anywhere?? I love Bulldogs :rolleyes:

If u can get hold of an Aloe Vera plant......cut it in half....scrape the gel out and this will sooth the itch.......cant do any harm either......Keep it in the fridge as this makes it cooler......cheers
