Vaccinations

hey everyone...

i was just wondering if anyone can give me a rough idea of when a puppy needs to be vaccinated. my puppy is nearly 12 weeks old now and when i got her at 10 weeks her vaccinations were up to date....i just wonder when she might be due for her next.

I'm no expert but I believe vaccinations are due again at 12 and 16 weeks.

Then yearly(?) afterwards..?

Have you taken your pup to the vet for an exam yet?

From what my vet said it's usually 6 weeks, 12 weeks and then 16 weeks whilst they're a puppy, and then once a year from then onwards.

Check with the breeder of your puppy.

You should have been given a vaccination certificate (card, letter etc. signed by the vet) with the type of vaccination and the date(s) when they were given. The breeder should have also given written advice on what worming has been done and when.

If you have none of this I would assume that nothing has been done.

You need to contact the breeder and possibly your vet.

cheers everyone....i didnt think to check in my dogs file (where all the puppy pack biz is) and of course there is a vaccination certificate in there which tells me when she needs her next shot (which is about now) i will book her in early next week. thanks for all your responses.
