At least with mine - he was 10 years old, and I knew his time was approaching - but I thought I had another 2 years with him.... But only 9 months - it's terribly sad. You are all very kind. For anyone interested, is a video I took of Oakley on his last day with us. It simply shows how happy and carefree he was, enough so to let a bunny climb all over him while he's eating. This is how we choose to remember him, as a beautiful gentle giant who would never hurt a fly.
