moggy
In a previous post I explained the breeder gave me a puppy pack with Optimum puppy food and said she feeds all her dogs with this product along with some doggy sausage. Sophie nibbles at it but doesn't seem very enthusiastic. Tictac, who is 3 years old, is being fed cooked mince, carrot, peas and rice. The vet suggested this diet along with meaty bone each week and chicken necks. Sophie, new pup, just loves the cooked mixture and gobbles it down with gusto. I hope this diet is ok for her. What do others think. Sorry I am posting quite a bit on this subject, but I want to get it right. Moggy.
peibe
I like to give puppies a commercial food diet until they are grown It is important that you are feeding the correct nutrician at a young age to ensure they grow correctly She might not like Optimum, my dogs do not but will eat other brands, give other commercial puppy food a try eg Advance, Eukanuba or Hill Science Diet Or read up on BARF and the correct doses of food for a growing pup
