Copper In Tap Water

Hi

I was just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with copper in their tap water, and what steps, if any, you've taken to keep it from drying out your dog's coat? Is there a shampoo or leave-in treatment available to protect the coat? The only problem I can see is, even if you have a shampoo, you still have to use the tap water to rinse it out...

Any ideas? Suggestions?

I use tank water to wash my dogs. If you don't have a tank are you able to somehow collect some rainwater next time it rains and use that? Otherwise I don't know. Good luck!
