Eileen
Not every morning, but maybe 2 out of 5, I will wake up to the sound of Dolly retching. It's usually bile, and mostly when I have slept in a little (I joke to my boyfriend that it is her way of making sure I wake up to take her to the park instead of sleeping in till 7am!) I remember when I was a kid my mum said dogs puke a lot and it is not the same as people vomiting .... but this does seem to happen a lot. Is it something I should worry about, or can it wait till the next vet visit?

ruthless
It can sometimes be cause they've an empty stomach. I should leave this one for people who know more than me
Eileen
No that makes sense, Ruthless, cos it is usually if I am sleeping longer than usual, thereby delaying her brekkie. Thanks heaps for answering.
Ari
Yes it can be because they're over hungry. If you are planning on sleeping in give her a small bikkie before you go to sleep and see if that will get her through the night better.
Bubitty
Bubby throws up if he doesn’t get something in his belly by about 11 ish! I think its most likely am empty stomach problem so I always get something in his belly before 11. I worked with a lady who had the same problem so she used to give her dogs some dog biscuits just before bed.
Eileen
I ought to clarify; by sleeping in I mean 6.30-7am. Bring on daylight savings, Dolly thinks it is morning at 4.45am!
