Eldoop Posted October 16, 2007 Share Posted October 16, 2007 Hi Cody had his second vaccination yesterday and is off his food, he had a nibble last night and only a nibble again for breakfast thismorning, he looks bouncy still so will he come good? or is he getting sick from the vacc?? If he continues to be off his food or develops vomitting, diarrhoea or a raised temp then scoot off to the Vets for a quick check. Normally you wouldn't have anything to worry about though. axlerose Posted October 17, 2007 Share Posted October 17, 2007 Puppies can have vaccination reactions. If he is still off colour tomorrow take him back to the vet. It is also a good idea to let your vet know at his next vaccination and they can give him an injection of niramine to prevent reactions again. This kind of reaction after vaccinations could continue for the rest of his life otherwise It is also quite common for animals to be flat and lethargic and slightly off their food for a short period of time after vaccinations.
