Your Personal Experiences With Dr Richard Eaton-wells Or Dr Richard Mi

In addition to my other post (re: names of specialists), I thought this may stand out with the names.

Can you please let me know of any personal experiences (with your dogs) with knee operations and either of these specialists?

These are the names that have been recommended. I cannot bare the thought of going ahead with another operation unless I am comfortable, I've researched and found someone who knows exactly what they are talking about with years of experience and many cases/scenarios.

Not a knee operation by Dr Richard Eaton-Wells did spinal surgery on one of our dogs (Lowchen). I trust this guy completely. As I said in another post, he's a genius.

We have been using him for years, before he was a specialist when he had only a small surgery. Basically he tells you straight, is gentle and caring with the dogs and charges by the armful. But worth every penny.

Dr Richard Eaton Wells operated on my ACD who had a fractured lateral fabella, which is a small bone behind her knee, when she was quite young. He did a great job and she went on to gain a Masters title in agility. Later in life, when she was about 10, he repaired her ruptured cruciate ligament and she recovered brilliantly. I personally would have no hesitation in having him operate on any of my dogs.

I've had no experience with the other surgeon you mentioned so can't comment there.
