 Last night Cody did a poo in the house  he has been so good with his toilet training...... I always take him out after a sleep, after a feed, and around every hour, I make a big fuss and say 'toilies" (sp?) but he doesn't get very excited, and he has only had about 3 accidents since I got him (2 and a half weeks ago) and yesterday he did a pee and last night he had a poo almost infront of us, and I'd taken him outside and he had a pee and I always wait longer incase he needs the other...so is it normal to go backwards at times

Definitely normal!

He's reminding you he is still a baby and you need to be super vigilant even though he is an angel. I have an angel myself and whenever I relax my vigilance I get a reminder it isn't time yet...it's easy to forget they are so little when they are so well behaved most of the time.

Totally normal. Puppy is a puppy, they learn over time from the errors as long as their humans handle it in an appriopriate manner.

I think you need to lower the expectations of your baby puppy :mad

yes they fool us dont they lol

so many dogs take a long long time to train

so take heart and be ready thats all

best way is to just keep em tethered or on a leash with u

the minute theymove u move em out

trust is a big thing and most dogs cant be trusted

for a long time...some up to a year but most are fine by 7 / 8 months

some bigger dogs train up better...my gsd had only accident and was asking to go out by pawing at me within 36 hours...

never had a dog like that since tho....

totally normal, benji did the same. He hasnt done anything inside now for bout a month, he's almost 6 months old now. Tis really an 'up and down' job...toilet training a pup,,just when u think he's trained...he does it inside again......but with patience..never smack him etc, he will be able to hold on til he gets outside.
