sheree_e4
I think 3 is great, just make sure you can have 3 in your local council though. I recently got my 3rd dog and everyone loves her even Kirah who is dog aggressive!!
becks
Should be fine as long as the personalities match well. All mine live together and there are more then 3!! Just make sure you have the girls desexed before you get the pup, unless you want them to breed! Some male minis can be very forward in chasing the girls

leighw
I've got 3 - 2 girls and a boy. The girls play very well together, the boy joins in sometimes, but most of the time he ignores them.
schnauzer
Three is triple the pleasure. ;) My triplets get on famously, two males and a bitch (all desexed). Go for it, who could resist a new schnauzer puppy?
Poodle wrangler
Agree about checking with council. Why would you like another dog? How old are the 2 you have? Guess I'd want a good reason to add another pup/ dog, especially if all get on well as it is. You don't know how another will affect the household, plus the normal problems of puppyhood ;). sandgrubber
Watch out. Three easily leads to four. and four to five. . . . . eventually you'll need to find a dog friendly location. ;)
Dogsfevr
We are a very mutli dog household but i always say to people remember the saying"2 is company 3 is a crowd" 3 dogs can work out great or it can be a disaster & if the 2 you have now get on very well then i would seriously consider why 3 would be better. Would you be happy to walk & control 3 dogs etc etc We bred minis & yes they like company but we find ours will often pair off for play & not interact as much with some . I agree do check with your local concil & then consider the additional expense of a 3 dog
kamuzz
Am I nuts or do you think three is ok. Well we have two + foster. You could always foster first to see how you cope with three dogs......
Rascalmyshadow
We have had a multiple dog house for years at the moment we have 5 but for me 3 was probably the best. It allowed plenty of one on one with each dog while the other two played together. It definately seems easier when they are all the same breed, we have had inroduced other breeds along the way (fosters etc.) and it hasn't worked as well the poodles prefer to stick together.
