Eldoop
Hi is there any poodle owners out there or any poodles at your club, I would like to do either agility or flyball with Cody when he is older, I started agility with Minx and she was coming alone nicely but I couldn't make the night they did training, so sadly had to give it up, but would like to do flyball aswell, so what would a toy poodle be more suited to? if any? Vickie
I don't know much about flyball, but there are HEAPS of toy poodles doing agility & doing it VERY well.
helen
Agility is my favorite. When I had a miniature Poodle he was trained to do flyball and was really fast. We never competed though, just did some demos.
Eldoop
Thanks....so I'll just have to see which he will be more suited to I guess? he already chases the ball so maybe flyball
Sayreovi
Why not do both? Alot of flyball teams would love to have a small reliable dog in their team Where abouts in Melbourne are you?
Eldoop
I got Cody a new toy today, its a pig skin bone with a rope hanging out the ends, and I was throwing it and he was running after it and bringing it back to me so once we get the 'bring it back' thing happening, I'll start getting someone to put it down and get him to fetch it, I'm not sure if this is correct but I reckon its along the right track tollersowned I'm in the south/east Melbourne....near Cranbourne.
